Sunday was a glorious day for weather and a horrible day for people. The house visit was sans Blonde because she was in a foul mood. Another blonde advises me, 'One day you will understand women - tell them they are wonderful, attractive etc etc but at the same time remain slightly aloof! Slightly is the operative word - you must get this exactly right!' She’s probably absolutely right about the strategy but I doubt if she’s right about me one day understanding them!!The house hasn't moved on as much as I expected. It's a month since I was there and I guess I expected a lot more change. There are some cosmetic enhancements (apparently called scotias) and doors have appeared as well as a bath and a toilet waiting to be 'seated'!
